FAQ
What time should we schedule our session?
Lighting plays a huge role in how your images feel.
• 8:00–10:00 AM — Morning “blue hour” with soft, cool tones
• 11:00 AM–4:00 PM — Indoor or heavily shaded locations only
• 5:00–8:00 PM — Golden hour with warm, glowing light (most popular!)
What should we wear?
Coordinating colors always photograph best. I recommend sticking to soft, neutral tones and solids, with maybe one subtle print mixed in. The goal is to keep the focus on your connection, not distractions.
Do you have location recommendations?
Yes! I love helping choose locations that photograph beautifully while still feeling natural and relaxed. Some favorite options include wooded areas with pine trees or trails, covered dirt roads, and open fields surrounded by trees. I’m always open to your ideas too — any requested locations will be scouted ahead of your session.
What happens if the weather is bad or someone is sick?
Life happens! If weather or illness comes up, we’ll reschedule for the next best available date so you still get the experience and images you deserve. Deposits are non-refundable but will be applied to your rescheduled session.
Do you travel?
Yes! I travel within 20 miles of Iron City at no additional cost. If you have a specific location in mind, feel free to share — I’m always happy to explore new places.
Do you photograph weddings?
At this time, I’m not booking weddings. I’m currently focused on family, couples, and portrait sessions so I can give each client the time and attention they deserve.
